Brotherly Love is a new film executive produced by Queen Latifah. Set in Overbrook High School in Brotherly Love LogoPhiladelphia, Keke Palmer stars in this drama which portrays family struggles, tumultuous relationships, the pressures of fame, and the difficulties that can arise when navigating life experiences.

Keke plays an aspiring performer trying to grow a budding career while dealing with a love relationship. She believes this film portrays a true vision of coming-of-age.

“I felt like my generation never had a film that depicts teen life in a very authentic way.”

Quincy Brown also stars in Brotherly Love and agrees with Keke about the film’s message. “My generation is definitely ready for something new to lay it out.”

I sat down with Queen Latifah and Keke Palmer to explore the deeper messages in Brotherly Love.
